The work I created depicts an adolescent, a sculpture that has been hollowed out, and the space between the two parts reveals that the figure is a fragile shell, as vulnerable as the soul is at this stage in life. I like the idea of calling up different reactions among the public, which is why I designed a project that allows visitors to project themselves mentally into the psyche and emotions of the figure it represents.
